I mean, they are OK, most people are average.

I lived in Spokane for almost 6 years....overall the people in Seattle are, on average, a LOT less obese than the fine folks of
Spokane. Being obese does not add to your attractiveness, IMHO.

Yep, I've been here for a few weeks now and have seen a lot of good looking women. Not as glamorous as what you would see in Los Angeles or New York, but still a lot of very attractive women of all races.

Put on the makeup and tight clothes that are common in SoCal and guess what, Seattle women look like those in LA.
Fortunately we don't resort to that as a barometer of beauty. And thankfully so.

Yeah, nothing like kissing your glamour date for the first time and getting a mouth full of makeup. Gross. Well said pnwguy, I find the women natural, beautiful and confident here, especially those who are sincerely into hiking, skiing, climbing, kayaking.

Is a city populated by people like Michael Richards ("Kramer") and Jason Alexander ("George Costanza") really in a position to laugh at Seattle?

IMO, a woman is more attractive when there are more women around.
The object of this is to out-bling your competition and peers.

LOL. My Eastside workplace, where I am employed by the 5th largest employer in the Seattle area*, is practically wall-to-wall women of all ages, although there are a few token men here (about 5%). I love it because, while there are a few women who do color their hair, most of us sport our natural hair color, and NONE of us wear makeup or fancy clothes. Ever.

All we care about is being comfortable all day and helping each other do our jobs, not "out-blinging" each other.

It's fantastic.
