We are booked for a couple nights in the Kalaloch campsite.... ONP FTW!

Having done Rainier and Gifford Pinchot NF last month my husband really wants some beach time.

Kalaloch is beautiful but bear in mind the surf and 191 traffic can be loud. Check out Ruby Beach and Lake Quinault. Have a wonderful time.

saucer, from Kalaloch, you can take a half day trip over to Quinnault, I think it's just about 30 miles. Awesome old trees (if I remember right a 1000 year old spruce), nice hikes, waterfalls, herds of elk too. The Quinnault Lodge is an old school gorgeous place, make sure and have a look inside.
