Dude! The South or Mid-west? And you think Seattle isn't for you? Frying pan-to-fire, much? Well, ok, Chicago could work, but the South & Mid-west tend to not be productive for singles, as most people marry young there. And speaking of high-quality entertainment, um......?? Oh well; give it a try, if you must, and report back from the Front.

Haha. Nice guess. Chicago is at the top of my list followed by Atlanta. Thought about Minneapolis, but figured I'd probably just be exchanging rain/clouds for snow. By the way all three cities I mentioned are great for dating. Especially for single men.

PNW just not giving me what I need. Glad that I had the chance to say I lived here though.

Yes, I was going to mention Atlanta, too. So you figured it out. Well, good luck! Report back.

You realize the sun sets a whole 2 minutes later in Chicago vs Seattle today, right? Not exactly escaping the darkness. And the high is 7 degrees (F, not C).

Hope you find what you’re looking for, even if you’re not sure what that is

Correct. Seattle's only real advantages over NYC is the weather and lack of state and city tax.

I think that some individuals are happiest in one of the great, cosmopolitan cities of the world.

Of course, Seattle is several tiers below that. Which is fine, if you like the outdoors...are more interested in raising a family than in night life....are satisfied with a decent (but not outstanding) level of urban amenities....

Thanks....I think. Haha.

Cold weather doesn't bother me. Lived through many winters on the east coast. I'll definitely report back once I've secured my next move. Need to be somewhere that is a bit more cosmopolitan as others have mentioned.

Glad that I've had the opportunity to move to Seattle. $$$ brought me here. Been an interesting experience that I'll never forget.
