A really nice warm and fuzzy ideal... But, how is Seattle going to pay for this "free" college? The money has to come from somewhere... Like higher property taxes, a Seattle sales tax or some other added value/sin tax within city limits? I just hope that Seattle doesn't "think" that the rest of King County or the State "should" help cover this free college program for Seattle residence.

CA had free CC's, and even the UC system was free, for a long time, but nobody flocked there just because of that benefit. In fact, nobody outside of the state knew about it. So don't worry.
