Just received word that this relocation opportunity may be happening sooner then we could have expected.. Moving across country is scary.

I need to possibly find a realtor or two to help search for rentals.

If its permitted on here, can anyone recommend based on personal experiences?

If not permitted, let me know!

I'm doing an East to West Coast move and just bought in town through a very supportive and hard-working realtor we worked with mostly through email. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her if you decide to buy instead of rent.

You have a DM.

How was your move if you did it already?

We physically move next week. Let's just say I took a leave of absence from my job and I'm very glad I did. It's a LOT of work.

I'm taking a lunch break from unpacking right now.

It IS a lot of work, and my poor crunched finger, crunched foot, and bruised legs will attest to that. Even with movers doing the heavy lifting, there's still a lot to do.

But I'm actually enjoying it!! Finding a place for everything is neat, and seeing the things I like after not having them for two months is like christmas in almost every box.

(Then there's the box that they packed with things like liquid soaps and lotions, OPEN. Couldn't they have at least closed off those bottles first????? Maybe I offended them somehow???)

But best of luck. I'm loving it here so far.

We'll be packing all our own stuff, so we'll be sure to avoid that mess

Best of luck!
