Hi, Folks,
I am desperately looking for a rental, 2 bedroom, 2 bath (possibly one bath) for about $1800. Lower Queen Anne is best. If anyone is vacating soon or knows of a place, please let me know!

There are several 1 br, 1 ba in your price range. Have you been checking Craigslist?

If you have a hard time finding something in LQA itself, maybe consider looking at the immediately adjacent areas of Interbay. You're almost in LQA. That area is a little more off-the-radar, I think.

If a little train noise bugs you, though, might not be good. On the plus side, there are some great views.

You can find some 2-bd/1-ba apts for for $1,800 in Lower QA (3 near Mercer St), on the QA's westside (4 near Gilman Dr) and eastside (3 near Taylor Ave), and in Magnolia's eastside (2 near Thorndyke Ave), but none in Belltown. I lived on 13th Avenue W, a couple blocks south of Gilman, for 13 years and was never particularly bothered by the railyard noise (more "music" to my ears), even with my windows open in the summer.

I had a typo in my post. I meant, that there are several 2 br/1 ba places available in the areas the OP is interested in. Didn't see any 2 br/2 ba.

I have been checking Craigslist. It is not helpful. Yesterday each and every one of the listings I checked out was a scam. It has become a joke thanks to the low life's out there.

I really need to get in touch with someone who lives in a building where they know someone who is moving out or is moving out themselves.

You are right watch out on Craigslist, was just going to mention lots of Scams out there. Seems like in every State is the same story.

Tough. Rental Market has settle around $2500 for a 2+2 around Lake Washington.

Magnolia/Interbay:

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2...?fullpage=true ($1,795, 2bd/2ba, 1,010sf) Couple blocks from the railyard, which helps explain the rent.

Otherwise, look further north (Ballard, Greenwood, Northgate, Lake City) if you want 2 (or 1.5?) baths.

I think you should be able to find SOMETHING. It will be barebones - no W/D and prob no dishwasher, older appliances, street parking, and probably very competitive, but I think it’s doable. If I hear of any leads I will PM you.

I just signed a lease for a 1br in First Hill for $1850 and I feel like I got a pretty good deal, but it’s a newer building with a good amount of amenities.
