WoooHOOOO!!!
We have over 6 inches in the Issaquah highlands. it's 10:30am and I have yet to hear a plow go by outside.
I'm thinking the PNW doesn't get much snow so they mite no even have plows or salt spreaders. At least at sea level surrounding towns.

I think the shade of green you see while in the woods is just spectacular!! EVERYTHING is just shaded green! I cant wait to experience it with all this snow! LOVE IT - LOVE IT - LOVE IT!!!!!

Communities vary, but down here in Rochester, we don't usually plow either. Not many plows, and usually the snow will be gone by noon...

Not likely. We have quite a bit and its only getting up to freezing for the next few days. Its fine by me.
Kid's are outside having a ball. Im curious how seattle proper handles this with all those SFO style hills/streets in town.

LOL! Isn't this snow storm like the repeat of the snow storm on MONDAY February 6, 2017?!

I believe that snowstorm also started on a Sunday (but night time), and accumulated until Monday. A lot of schools and small businesses were closed for that Monday. I remember coz I had to take a class that day and that class was cancelled due to the snow storm.

Oh my, what a coincidence!

We got a foot here in Sammamish near Sahalee. Since it's still only 22 it's not going to melt, then tomorrow is going to be even colder and worse for driving. Glad I'm able to work from home. We normally get plowed right after I have shoveled the driveway, or after it turns to rain.

They don't cope well with it at all! One would be wise to not go there during snow.

Still snowing here too, though we only have a couple inches accumulation, it's just kindof tiny flakes, blowing around. Little hummer on our porch is just hanging out on the feeder, been sitting there 30 minutes or so looking cold... wishing spring would come soon.

It's beautiful in Woodinville, I didn't think it would stick so this is a surprise.

I'm in Bremerton and we have a dusting over the city. But further out, there's from 1 to 3 inches of snow. So far, the snow on the roads has melted, but there's still a lot around. And we're supposed to get another snow shower later this week. I'm always hoping for a couple of feet of snow.
