I am moving from the Southeast and will be working in Issaquah. I would like to know of a good place to live. Rural is OK, as is suburban. If rural, I'd prefer on or near a river; if suburban, I would prefer a real neighborhood with sidewalks, etc.

Klahanie is in Issaquah and a nice family neighborhood. I am sure you can find something in there in your price range.

Issaquah public schools have a good reputation, and it's one of the nicest places in the area to live. If you can't find a home there in your price range you can check some of the communities a little farther out. Here's something: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/rfs/250729486.html (broken link)
