Not necessarily. Many people who test positive do not become seriously ill.

I've been wondering what's going to happen with the Sounders home games.

Abroad games are being cancelled while others are moving forward without spectators.

But they can spread it around easily. That's the main problem.

With Seattle people hunkering down, I truly thought I’d be sitting home with not much to do this week. Surprisingly, a number of my buyer clients seem to be working from home and are considerably more flexible with their schedules to look at new listings. As the stock market has turned down, investors have run for safer investments, bonds and the like. This, and the fed rate cut, have driven mortgage interest rates to their lowest level in years. That seems to be a big motivator right now as well.

But have you considered how short lived it's going to be if things continue to deteriorate?

For sure, I’m just taking it day by day right now. Many realtors have stopped doing open houses in the Seattle area.

Aren't we all! I lost three clients today because of the WFH tech workers.. I have another two that are at home, but are still using me -at least for now...

WHEN the school district shuts down I will in all probability lose everyone.

But I'm married to a tech worker who is paid well and we have solid cash reserves.

I feel for the wage earners that don't have backup. This will really test our country's safety net. I imagine the gov't will have to have a plan...

Unfortunately this spills over into everything. Of course being a tech worker is much safer than, I don't know, running a restaurant or something like that right now. But in the end this absolutely spills over and impacts the companies that employ tech workers. I really hope this thing fizzles out and ends up being just another flu. If not, we probably will have a who knows how big recession on our hands with lay offs and all that stuff.
