Can you trust experts who at the beginning told us to " seriously stop buying facemasks" to now suggesting to use one now.

Yea I'm gonna have to agree with this one. They also mentioned no one needing to change their lives in any way. All this was 3 months ago when this was said. And also, how come the same restrictions occuring now did not occur with MRSA, Zika or H1N1?

Again, people love to find support for their own narrative, so, those who didn't, and still don't, want to use a mask, felt vindicated by the "no mask needed" proclamation, and when the medical authorities reversed this idea, the people who wanted to wear a mask, felt they had finally been absolved from the criticism of the non mask crowd. But to be sure, this really isn't about masks at all, it's actually about the political nature of our partisan views--on everything..

The same people who feel they know best, without any supporting claim of having the expertise needed for such views, seem to find all manner of things to complain about. Viral threats to our national interests are relatively new, so I'm guessing that mistakes were made and lessons were learned, but none of that reflects well on people's notions of their imagined superior medical knowledge.

Next they will tell us homemade masks are useless which they are. A bandana has an 8% filtration rate. The blue masks are only like 40% not that great. I feel for people who just lazily listened to our government for advice throughout this thing. Better wake the f*ck up.

Right on point. I really think the masks have become a fashion statement in cases. I see advertisements for these 3 layer fabric masks and wonder if they work. However I can't imagine they are comfortable. I question why I even wear a mask. I definitely don't wear it at all outside because I can hardly breathe especially when briskly walking.
