I am not sure the public has any duty to give them correct information and I don't know if they will have any duty to verify it. It may turn out as well as DiBlasio's snitch line. We will have to see how that plays out.

Apparently this man thinks for himself. Urging fellow officers to disobey the Governor's mandate. Why? It violates their constitutional rights. Prevent someone from leaving their home? Its for their own good. Issue tickets for going to church? They won't obey the mandate.

"The trouble with Eichmann was precisely that so many were like him, and that the many were neither perverted nor sadistic, that they were, and still are, terribly and terrifyingly normal."

Hanna Arendt speaking about the atrocities committed by the Nazis.

THE BANALTIY OF EVIL....are you getting it?

UPDATE - Just saw a local King5 news report that because of the uproar, the governor is considering making the restaurant logging optional.

The story isn't online yet... but look for stories to that effect today!

Keep the pressure up people.

Update again....

Here's the link and a quote:

"Inslee had said restaurants would be responsible to get names and phone numbers of customers in case they need to be contacted about potential exposure to coronavirus patients. But, on Thursday, he said that requirement could be made into an option."

Why is this thread in the Seattle forum? The governor is governor to the state and the Corona Truthers comparing contact tracing to Nazis don’t even live here.

I figured it was only a matter of time before that guy showed up here, being a Seattle cop and all.

Might want to look into him before declaring him a hero. I agree with much of what he says on the surface anyway though despite his personal story being a little fishy.

Declaring victory and going home would be a better idea for the government at this point. Let's call it the Vietnam strategy.

I guess I placed my question in the wrong section.

Maybe I should have placed this question in the Washington forum?

There is a pattern forming here. When Inslee is challenged he tends to cave. Might be a good thing at the end of the day.
