What's it like taking the ferries right now? I might have to walk on to the Bremerton-Seattle ferry to close a PO box. Do people stay 6 feet apart when waiting in line and when they are on the boat? Usually there is a scrum to get on the ferry and also to get off. I might just extend the PO Box or try returning the keys via mail if it is too bad.

The usual...social distance, complete with floor stickers. Advise to stay in your vehicle if applicable. The WA ferry system obviously is deemed as an essential service.

The best place to enjoy the ferry is outside. Stay outside and I think you'll be fine

We use the Pierce County ferry to access Anderson Island. MANY people not social distancing, residents who know one another visit from car to car, unmasked... Ferry has notices posted to STAY IN YOUR CAR but they do not enforce it.

Only one ferry was running Memorial Day - typically there are two due to stay-cationers visiting for the holiday. Many, many folks were left behind on several runs.

We went over the water today for medical appointments and to do some shopping. Ferry was packed both ways.
