Agreed. Why this team was able to get off to a great start and then seem to lose more than win is due in part to injuries, but also due to a lack of the essentials, offensive and defensive lineman, though injuries have hurt here as well. Jamal had a couple of great plays Sunday, but he can't carry the defense. I don't think it is for a lack of motivation, I just think the pieces are not in place this year. And that ultimately is blamed on upper management and coaching. I'm not saying Pete has lost it, but I wonder where the real problems exist. Do we need to be bring in better talent? Did Russell's contract end up hurting the ability to bring in quality players? These questions need to be addressed. I am still hopeful these mid-season losses are just an aberration, but you've got teams out there like Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Kansas City, New Orleans, and I hate to say it, Los Angeles Rams all better than the current Seahawks.

They will easily beat the Jets this week, but then on the road at Washington, (also a likely win), but then two conference games against the Ram's at home and 49er's at their place to end the regular season. It is crunch time, for certain.

Russ took 3.34 seconds to throw the ball in average.

Longest time in the league for week 13.

Umm, beating the Washington Football Team is not a sure thing at all. Watch out. They upset Pittsburgh last night. I think Seattle will get straightened out, but, teams have learned to hold D.K. Metcalf and get away with it. I think they're grabby-butting all over the place and the ref's aren't calling it correctly and aptly. Yes, I'm blaming it on both our players and also opposing team's players for immense grabby-butting, and then the ref's for not calling it.

Think about it. Why was Russ able to find David Moore, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at will earlier in the season? I'll tell you why. The D-Back's on the other teams weren't holding and blopping like they are now. Everyone's gettin' tired. The NFL is a brutally tough professional sports league. It really is. The result is either getting injured or playing burnt out.

8-4 is not a bad place ta be right now. Tied with the LAR's for first place in the very tough NFC West Division. I know, I know. We lost to the Ram's 23-16 at L.A. We can do this people. I know the Seahawk's can do this. And, remember, the New York Giants were winning when they got to Seattle and they're still winning now. They're very, very good on defense. Brutally tough. The Seahawks, especially their linemen, are no doubt sore as hell right now.

Beating the Jet's will bring us to 9-4 (and yes we will beat the Jets) and then they've got the very tough L.A. Rams on December 27th at home. Home field is no longer an advantage, either, which does hurt the Seahawk's outcomes at home. I've been following this team a long, long time. I've seen seasons go like this before, and, the Seahawks have come back. In a big way. Sure, the chips are moldy and stinky right now. Watch what happens.

I do think that D.K. and Tyler are being held each and every play. I think D coaches teach this to the D-Backs. Think about it a bit.

Go Hawks!

Not even close elko this time! I was going to post that the Hawks would run it up on the Jets, but forgot to do it. (I know, easy to make that story up, but that really was my prediction!).

Three somewhat tough tests coming up. But the Hawks can control their own destiny. First up, at Washington (should be a win, but this team is improved no doubt), then LA at home and SF in Arizona.

Seahawks can win out. Their 'D' is playing very well now. Jets aren't tough, but 40-3? That's a fast turnaround. The tough one will be against the LAR's.

It's at home. Where there's no longer an advantage. I think the Hawks win that game.

12-4 and winning the NFC West Division coming right up! When you're talking the Seattle Seahawks I'm the consummate optimist.

It is interesting that the SF game will be played in Phoenix instead of Santa Clara, but as you say, not sure it really matters without fans. The only difference will be the home uniforms! Weird season, but atleast the NFL is playing it out despite all the obstacles, unlike the Pac-12 which has been a disaster, but the Huskies will indeed play for the Pac-12 championship probably with a big huge asterisk.

A healthy Jamal Adams is better than a day with sunshine. 310 days a year. Wait a minute. I already have that down here in sunny southern New Mexico!

Go Hawks!

Quick stat: Damon "Snacks" Harrison had 6 tackles and 6 assists yesterday against the New York Jets. Nice.
