It is up to Seattle to take back their city, if they want the laughingstock image of losing territory to go away.

I sure hope so... A mouth piece is surely essential.
Yes, they have chosen a leader. It's Chaz.

It will go away. The questions are only when and under what circumstances.

Was Chaz one of the phony nations fraud diplomats came from on the old Night Court series?

I understand lots of people think this is comical and it kind of was.. for about 5 minutes, but once you stop and think about it, it is a disgrace that the mayor and the city is not on top of this.

I feel for the people who live in that area and did not ask for this. They pay taxes. They should have a police force nearby. They should be able to drive a car in or out. Where is THEIR voice in this?
Does anyone get the utter hypocrisy that it's a supposedly cop free zone but it's got people walking around with assault rifles and one of the first things they did was build walls?

When this is over, hopefully sooner rather than later, I hope they prosecute these little punks to the fullest extent of the law

This was inevitable in a liberal US city. Sooner or later, one would cede control to anarchists, while the rest of the nation laughed at them.

Actually it’s not funny at all. The citizens living in this insurgent controlled area (yes that is what it is) are entitled to the rights granted them by the constitution. Do people living there have the right to speak support of conservative causes or in favor of President Trump? Do they have the right to move freely? Are they safe? No is the answer to all these questions. The insurgents control what they do for now.

President Trump has the right to use force to end this...actually he has a duty to restore order. He has been too patient with this already.

The mayor and governor effectively gave up this land.

Lets just all sit back and laugh at Seattle.

Barney Fife would handle CHAZ better than Seattle has.
