Smells like a publicity stunt intended for the Phoenix audience, who would be ignorant of the fact that downtown Seattle is not Capitol Hill.

Seeing all the losers who couldn’t cut it in a real city come here to poo-poo on Seattle cracks me up. Don’t you people have a MAGA klan rally to attend? Or maybe it’s just dinner at Cracker Barrel tonight?

We're still at the stage where corporations feel pressured to praise the "overwhelmingly peaceful" BLM/Antifa riots.

I guess corporations will continue to leave the more riotous cities (Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, NYC, Atlanta), but will be more careful about admitting their reasons for it.

Because only a Klansman could possibly oppose riots, looting, and turning a city into one big CHAZ/CHOP zone.

I’m sure it was damage control given how the CEO specifically denied the reporting that the departure is related to the protests and social unrest. The question is, however, how they could have decided on a city that quickly. It turns out they didn’t. It was a months-long process and they announced the decision to move to Phoenix internally way back in January.

The damage control was for the journalistic malpractice committed by the source you quoted. Please stop supporting and repeating these unethical journalists. I’m sure Cole Smead, the CEO, didn’t enjoy reading about “due to the unrest” in the title and the body of article. Doing this really makes your criticism of the unrest hollow. Be well.

What's with this news source? Right wing propaganda that's really manipulating some people or just targeting the Karen demographic.

To be fair, the two possibilities aren’t mutually exclusive.
