I am not implying anything. I am saying that with the current system a simple majority of districts can decide a city council election. If 4 out of 7 have extreme liberals, then there goes the city. Perhaps, more than anything, this is a wake up call for those moderates in the city to start voting in these elections.

If 4 of those 7 go liberal, then that leaves 3 with 2 citywide (which you seemed to indicate is moderate liberal) so still 5-4. 4 of 7 going very left liberal indicates the city is not moderate liberal. Or they aren't voting anyways, maybe it will be a wakeup call. I just get a bit tired of hearing about silent majorities who don't vote.
