1.2% is hardly enough difference to make people go out and rent there. I would expect Seattle rent to continue dropping with suburbs going up, now that so many can work from home, and the regularity of protests, homeless problems, and now police de-funding make Seattle much less desirable.

I remember a lot of these being in the 2000$+ range mostly unless you wanted a micro ( jail cell) studio
I was in downtown Bellevue. The apartments I was staying at are offering two months free.

If you can work remotely, why bother living in Seattle where things are still shutdown and pay the high rent when you can move somewhere else where many things have opened back up?

There are a number of ads that give upto 8 weeks free on rent, if the renter were to be able to verify what the last person paid and what the owner is asking then it can be concluded there is a drop in rent prices, one can only imagine more will follow.
