Four local adjacent zip codes show Covid cases up 24.5% since Thanksgiving alone (and through December 8).

These are zip codes where previously 1 in 60 residents had ever tested positive for Covid-19.

Have to wonder if those Thanksgiving gatherings stoked the fire.

It would be just like our society to decide that the vaccine is right around the corner, so we'll just let our guard down... before the numbers increase exponentially prior to the true roll-out of the vaccine (and long before anyone knows or understands the potential limitations of said vaccine).

Christmas is coming...

OK people...

we need you to collectively WAKE UP...

SINCE Thanksgiving... in the same 4 zip codes now...

positive Covid cases are up 35.7% (in 4 tangent zip codes within the Seattle bounds)

For data... you download an excel file from this website: (category "Overall Counts")

UPdates on the same four, inside-Seattle zip codes adjacent to one another:

1 in 39 residents among the 4 combined zip codes has tested positive at some point for Covid.

Washington state numbers are 1 in 30.

King County numbers are 1 in 36.

For comparison, NY city data:

Manhattan 1 in 26 has at some point tested positive for Covid

Queens: 1 in 18

Kings: 1 in 20

Perhaps some very interesting data to follow soon, once Christmas and New Year's gatherings are reflected.
