Seattle School District Bashes White Teachers for the ‘Spirit Murder’ of Black Children (home)

Seattle Public Schools held a teacher-training session where it asserted that the U.S. education system is responsible for committing “spirit murder” against black students.

The school district’s critical race theory training, according to documents released Friday by City Journal contributing editor Christopher Rufo, instructed white teachers to recognize their “considerable power and privilege.” A slide on “building community” listed bullet points for teachers to discuss, including “spirit murder”—a term defined as the murder of “the souls of black children every day through systemic, institutionalized, anti-black, state-sanctioned violence.”

Other slides instructed white teachers to “bankrupt [their] privilege,” acknowledge their “thieved inheritance,” and “commit to the journey” of anti-whiteness even if their “lizard brain” makes them fearful of having a conversation about racism—”or any other kind of ‘-ism.'”

I'm old enough to remember when the goal of liberals was equality. Equal rights. Equal opportunity. And civility. And mutual respect.

Now, academia, media, government, are describing white people the same way Nazis in the 1930s described Jews.

Are you saying that the twitter feed(s) did not provide enough information, or that you don't feel like a twitter feed is worth commenting on?

Maybe they want to have segregated schools, then to teach specifically to the Black kids? Seattle is only 6.8% Black and dropping. "Teaching to" that small minority means less attention to the the others. The "whiteness" in Seattle is only 64.5%, the other minorities "of color" like Asians 14.9% and Hispanic 6.6% are apparently not suffering from ‘Spirit Murder’.

LOL - Seattle Public Schools are what they are because of their own social engineering performed many decades ago.


For while other districts can say that busing was forced upon them, SPS took it upon themselves to effect what was their own eventual undoing with their own self-created system of stupidity.

What SPS is today, remains no more than but a giant function of the mess it created of itself more than four decades ago.


When SPS looks in the mirror, it should ask what in the hell it was thinking when it actually mattered.

I recently had to undergo sexual harassment training because it is now mandatory in CA for larger companies.

What a weird class that was.

I as a male that only likes females am now considered SIS.

I really thought I was just normal.
I guess there is just no normal anymore.

I’m not a hater, homophobe or in any group that does not respect others.... it’s just that I am no longer considered normal so others won’t get their feeling hurt ???
