For now. Even the article mentions it could change.

This week calculations are putting the number of infected as higher than it was.

Because of the lack of testing and asymptomatic cases.

A shooting was and is not classified as Covid. If there is evidence of this, I'll certainly look at it.

On the positive side of this, it means more have - or previously had - natural immunity.

Does it still exist? Not sure. It does wane over time.

Yes, and this is a good thing.

Why did Denmark do this?

Denmark is currently benefiting from a low reproduction rate and low daily case numbers of Covid-19, with just under 73 percent of the population fully vaccinated.

10Sept2021,
KIRO7 news.

I wonder how many firefighters/first responders did this lieutenant influence? and Now has a change of heart and health.

Most people will survive a heart attack. Heart attacks often times really, really hurts. And those that do hurt real bad, makes you dead, so I am told. I've had small episodes and I live very healthy. Do Not ignore the warnings.

This fireman says “I got caught up in the politics of it”. I’ll say it again, if Trump had led with humility and cooperation with scientists, told his supporters every step of the way to take Covid very seriously, mask up, socially distance and vax up, we as a county would be sitting at 75 to 80 percent vax rate and have saved a lot of lives. That it ever became a political issue is preposterous, embarrassing and tragic.

Cooperate with Dr. Fauci? who has no credibility, has been proven a liar but his lies are hidden by the mass media. Flip flops constantly. First its no mask than 2 mask, 3 masks. Kids should be vaxxed, oh wait, maybe not. The guy is lucky he is not behind bars for his hand in unleashing covid.

In a survey published in July, 95% of respondents said they wore a mask the last time they went out. The survey was conducted by phone in June by the National Council of Applied Economic Research, India's biggest independent economic policy group.

Awareness is widespread. Whenever you make a phone call in India — on landlines and mobiles — instead of a ring tone, you hear government-sponsored messages warning you to wash your hands and wear a mask.
I wear a mask mostly as a courtesy to others who don't know if I'm vaccinated or not. All the same, the vaccines don't provide 100% protection. When I see someone not wearing a mask, especially indoors, I assume they are not vaccinated.

India shows that close to universal mask wearing can stem the spread of the virus. Denmark shows that a high vaccination rate is also effective.

What is criminally irresponsible is refusing to do either.

Fauci’s your fall guy, I get it. No, I don’t just mean him, I mean all the scientists. We have learned so much as we have gone through this process, things have shifted with new information. That’s how science works, dude, including the humility to admit when a different course is needed. Go read my post again, not the one thing you are focused on but all the rest. Trump set a tone for his people, they responded defiantly unmasked, non socially distanced and vaccine denying. Do all Repubs act this way? Of course not. Do some Dems refuse to get vaccinated? Of course. The statistics are clear though, way more Repubs are choosing not to vax than Dems. Trump could have made things very different, yes he had that power with his supporters. He chose the path and persona of defiance, what happened after is plain to see.

Just listen to this fireman in the video. His words say it all.

Your post says it all in a nutshell, homes.

And the sheep also forget that Trump was talking about vaccines from the very beginning when he had the 3 CEOs of the biggest companies personally meet with him in the beginning of the pandemic and he also noted vaccines several times as the election grew near.

I have not found another country in the world where masking was political.

Where the vaccine was a political issue.

Embarrassing and tragic is the perfect way to describe it.
