I'm still waiting......

This is Memorial Day weekend for crying out loud and I'm wearing 2 shirts, a jacket, shoes and socks--in the house!

I put out some summer flower seeds last weekend and they're refusing to come up in this chill.

So when is it summer around here?

We should get some nice warm sunny days in June, but we've also had many cool rainy Junes.
It's generally really nice here starting July 5th, and going through late September.

Where are you from originally? For example I'm from Arkansas, and to me it seems like as soon as summer actually gets here, its already over lol. I'm used to many months of warm weather and warm days mixed in all year, whereas here it can be a very short period of time with warm weather. Yea I agree, I'm ready for some warm, not cloudy or drizzly weather!!!

Depends on where you are from - and what tempurature summer is to you

TO me summer is suppose to be hot hot hot for months
So it's never summer here

It will get into consistant 70s in July - after the 4th, of course

Last year was actually a pretty decent summer.

You're right. And in 2006 I seem to recall it was a Friday, wasn't it?

Aha! So summer occured last Saturday when I planted the seeds.

That means it's fall now? And winter starts over again next week?
