We get more rain than Seattle in Sammamish, but in our 29 years here I don't remember a drier and warmer September/early October. The rain almost always started about 9/20, with temperatures a good 12-16 degrees cooler than today when it's supposed to hit 80. It's good for the PSE bill, however, way too warm to need the furnace yet not hot enough to need AC. Yesterday when I got up the house was at 71F, the warmest it got in the afternoon was 75F. It also seems to have delayed the traditional fall "Spider Season", I haven't seen many yet. I do hope the rain and cold brings an end to those nasty Stink bugs, however. I probably killed 20 outside yesterday and 3 inside. Thank goodness for the electric fly swatter.

Even Los Angeles has a cool, cloudy June. Down there they call it the June Gloom.

Sounds good. Will be in town from the End of October through the First week in November.
