Hi there I wanted some advice as Facebook marketplace is not helping too much in my search and I'm getting slightly desperate at this point.
My father passed away recently and am looking for someone to take over my lease so that I can be closer to family. (nice high-rise one bedroom with a view from my balcony of the sound and of pike place market). Was curious if anyone had any suggestions, or places other than Facebook/craigslist they have had any luck in this avenue. Someone in my building suggested trying to find a forum of anyone relocating for work, or schools that have teachers coming for short term stays etc. But I can't find anything online. I realize it's not the most ideal time for moving. Or I guess if anyone is looking for housing/knows someone. I would love any suggestions!!!

Kayla, so sorry about your father, mine passed on a couple months ago. Although it seems to be much maligned these days, you might want to try Craigslist. There are plenty of legit connections made on the forum.

I’m so sorry to hear that, and sorry that we are both a part of that club. It breaks my heart. I’ve posted on Craigslist to no avail on there either with the exception of a couple of scammers unfortunately.
