Last June we did not get one sunny day, and was a lot like this.

Azoria--just curious I see you moved to Seattle in March--how much research did you do on Seattle weather before moving? Where are you from? For a newcomer you seem to really hate the weather (usually it takes a year before people get sick of it).
In MY experience it seems like the people on this board that like the weather were born there and the people who dislike it are from somewhere else. Correct me if Im wrong...

That's not accurate. Last June I was finishing up a graduate program and finals week was sweltering. Wearing that cap and gown on the second Sunday in June, I thought I was going to pass out in the heat, and the next week, it was so hot and sunny that it looked like we would break some records. Now it is true that once that heat spell passed we had a pretty miserable summer, but it is inaccurate to say that we didn't have a single sunny day in June last year.

Seattle Climate Data - Monthly Summaries (http://www.beautifulseattle.com/clisumm.htm - broken link)

You can't deny facts. Sky Condition Summary -> June. Also, you can see that this May didn't stack up either.

Funny cause the second half of that month I spent swimming daily at our pool with my neighbors! LOL

Who is responsible for that page? It is simply not accurate. Check out 2007: Another crazy year in weather | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local & Regional. Were you here last June? Frankly, I am not a big fan of Seattle but I remember last June and we had a few days that were sunny and hotter than average. Plus we had something of a heat wave in July.

National Weather Service - NWS Seattle

Look at the preliminary climatology data for June 2007.

I was here last June. Other than the first three days, I remember it being a lot like this crap we've been having.

I remember on July 22nd it was hot and humid, because I had brunch at the Salish lodge and I remember being super uncomfortable because I was wearing a suit.

You can't always trust what you see on paper. The NWS also shows this last May as having 1 day of Sunny weather. We all know that there was a heat wave and we got a at least a good full week of nice weather. It wasn't completely clear skies however, there were a few clouds that came and went, which skews the statistics and makes it look worse on paper than it really was. Come on now, if you are going to be miserable at least try not to take other people down with you.
