MichaelinWA, I've never made it to Etta's that's a great idea, thank you!

Allforcats, Ira500 and samsmom, thanks for the recommendations, out of all the recommendations the only place we have been is Ray's. We are going to try and go out at least three times while they are here and we are planning a trip up to the Bellingham area so a stop at the Oyster Bar is definitely going to be on our itinerary!

Another place that they have mentioned before is Benihana's , will probably do that too.

I was going to say the Fremont Classic, but I just found out it closed
So...maybe you could just bring a sack lunch to the courthouse downtown on the 16th with the Sonics trial. Dinner and a show.

I like the Palace Kitchen on 5th Avenue, Marjorie on 2nd, Tulio on 5th.
Also you must, and I mean absolutely must try the Kingfish Cafe on 19th and I believe Republican on Capitol Hill. The best southern cuisine in the city imo. Always a crowd to get in but well worth it. Great atmosphere, great bar and I love the decor with all the old giant black and white photos of relatives from years ago.

I'll think of some more later.

Kingfish Cafe ranks up there as one of my favorite restaurants in town, I've never been disappointed there!
