If we were to relocate to the Redmond area, how difficult will it be to find an apartment that would allow 3 cats and a 40 lb dog (who is not a restricted breed)? We are hoping to stay fairly close to the MS campus (max 15 minute commute) and the animals are not negotiable (they are our kids). Thanks!

I agree. Most apartments have a 2 pet maximum (we have 2 cats), and you would be hard pressed to find one that would allow a 40 pound dog.

Good luck!

V. =)

Default Fingers crossed

Thanks – we’ll be moving from NY and won’t know anyone, so it will be harder to meet people living in a house vs. a complex (say, with a fitness center). Maybe the MS relocation people can pull some strings for this sort of thing. One can hope…

It shouldn't be any harder to meet people if you live in a house. You can still talk to your neighbors and join a gym if you want to meet people that way.

Generally, I've never found that there are too many people working out in the gyms at whatever apartments I've lived in anyway.
