I'm new to the area and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good vet on the East side. I've got an older cat with some health issues, and he's not the best patient.... He tends to freak out a lot at the vet's office (and yes, he has his claws). So, I'd like to stick close to home if possible (living near downtown Bellevue) and find a vet with some patience.

I had a great vet in Charlotte who handled him so well; a lot of others wanted to sedate him to calm him down but he has a heart condition so I was not OK with this. Would love to find someone similar here who's willing to try to work with him. (Plus, I did just put him through a cross-country move, so I don't want to cause him any more stress than I have to!)

Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

My four cats, two of whom did not welcome their annual adventure to their doctor's office, became fast friends with the doctors, techs and admin staff of Companion Animal Hospital.

I've worked with a lot of cat doctors over time, and I think Companion is the best I've ever known, and we've been together since 1990.
Companion is on the west side of 156th Ave. NE just south of NE 20th Way-Northrup Way (same street, different names on either side of 156th).

I would recommend Companion for any cats and dogs, of any age, in any medical condition, with any personality. I've never experienced such expertise, love, kindness, smarts, long hours, complex capabilities, and compassion for me and for the animals. Can you tell I think they're wonderful?
