Hi!
We have our friends coming in to visit next week, and I want to plan a girls day out...any day spa recommendations in or around the area? We've only been here a few months and I've not had a chance to really explore yet. I'm looking for a really 'girly' atmosphere, a place where we can have spa services along with a champagne lunch...something like that. Any recommendations?? Thanks!!

Wow! This is the middle of summer in Seattle, when the weather is clear, sunny and warm! Why not drive them up into the mountains, or over to a berry-picking farm, or out to the Strait or the ocean, or onto a ferry to any of the islands, or down to Northwest Trek, or north, east or south to farmlands, and walk around a bit? All that beautiful Pacific northwest scenery and clean air in clear sunlight?? Wow! That would be beautifying from the inside out!

I haven't been in Seattle long, but this doesn't seem like much of a spa craving culture.

I googled my 2 favorite kinds of spa type places, hamams and banyas, and turned up only one in Seattle.

A place called Banya 5. Looks pretty upscale but they do offer a lot of waxes and scrubs and massages and oilings in addition to steaming you like a clam. Pricey.

I went to Salish Spa at Snoqulmie Falls nad loved it there. Here is the link to the spa and the falls are a sight to be seen!

Thanks so much! And allforcats, 99% of the things we have involve the outdoors, this is just a girls 1/2 day getaway! I don't get those very often

Salish is the only fancy-schmancy one around here I know about. Falls are way down now, but still nice. We had breakfast there Friday. It's an event. If you go there, look to be in their bistro room upstairs for lunch maybe. Pretty.

Redmond has one called Marbella I've passed by. It looks pretty girly. I've never gone in though.
