Hi All,

Perhaps you can help me, I moved from Northern Wisconsin, to Phoenix. Tried to escape the snow in Wisconsin, and want to move from Phoenix I cant handle the heat and am looking at Bellevue. Appears the prices may be similar for rents. What is Bellevue like regarding cost of living and rents? is it a safe area to live?

Seattle is a completely different city when it's sunny and when it's cloudy. When it's sunny, the people are livelier, people are courteous and hold doors open for others, they're playing outside. I always get out and enjoy it if I can. Sometimes I've wanted to just dart out the door when it's a nice day and I'm trapped in a classroom.

I'd love to get out and enjoy life, but I just do not feel like this is where I belong.[/quote]

MOVE! If clouds are effecting your mood, then stop complaining and change your situation. This is a great big country with many opportunities! No one is forcing you to stay in seattle, and honestly the people who like it here are tired of hearing your negativity.

If you've read enough posts to know I don't really care for Seattle's weather, you should know by now that I am planning to move out of here shortly after I graduate.

"Many opportunities"? In these times, don't you think that's a bit of a stretch?

Yes, despite all the panic on the news, you still have many opportunities in this country. If you limit yourself, then you won't get what you want.
