I thought it was a dream I had. I just remember thinking "shaking...hope the china cabinet doesn't fall over" then I fell back asleep.

Didn't feel it in Sammamish...think it's because that huge Plateau absorbs it. Will have to ask my father in law what he felt in Queen Anne.

I had woken up just a minute before I felt it. I was still a little groggy, so I wasn't sure if I was really feeling an earthquake or not. But I felt my bed swaying gently back and forth, which is something I felt, though more violently, during the 2001 Nisqually Earthquake because I was also on my bed; so when I realized that, I knew that an earthquake was happening.

It seemed longer than 5 seconds though, more like 10. I think one is probably the first earthquake I have felt since the Nisqually one, but it's definitely more milder. I heard of very minimal personal damage on the news, so this one wasn't bad at all.
