Is there any place in particular you think Seattle has really bad parking?
I vote the International district. Simply because my wife is Japanese and on occasion, we have need to go there. There's a really excellent book store attached to Uwajimaya. Plus the selection there is better than the one closer to home. Still, she only goes there on weekdays. Weekends are horrible.

Iwajimaya/The International District comes to mind. Try to find ..wait.. try to drive there on Saturday or Sunday. It's a nightmare with people trying to grab a parking place. I'd be willing to bet 90 percent of the time you spend waiting to move is waiting for someone to exit or grab a parking space. Couple that with the pedestrian traffic....I rarely go there on weekends. I would if there was an adequate way to get in and get out.

I know it's not really a "moving" thread. But any tips you have for getting around might be useful to someone. Me, for instance. I enjoy gleaning the knowledge of others for useful tidbits of information. You never know when it will come in handy.
