I really need to find a Dr and get some ADD meds because I'm doing nothing. I don't have insurance, and can't get a job to get insurance til I find a therapist, and while I do have money it needs to last me the rest of the year so I don't want to give away big chunks if I can help it.

I don't work, so I technically have no income (just savings) so is there somewhere I can go for low-cost health care?

Someone mentioned group Health, but there's a hospital and an insurance plan, and i wasn't sure which one they were referring to... is there a free clinic or something?

Group Health's Urgent Care will see you no matter what, but you will get a bill. Its about $123 or so out of pocket with no coverage. They accept most insurance.

We refer people who dont/cant pay the deposits to Country Doctor. Thats where most of my uninsured friends go.

Try one of the best natural medicine research universities in the world, north of Seattle, Bastyr.

In WA, you don't need a job to get insurance. You can get private insurance through Regence or GroupHealth or Assurant. You can probably find a plan for $50 a month if you don't need much coverage. Try ehealthinsurance dot com, which will help you search for a company.

Wow, thanks for these quick replies. Do you have to take a physical or can you just order insurance like cable TV?

Jesse, do you know if Group Health covers mental health?

You can just order it online. However, they do make you disclose all your habits and ailments beforehand, to determine your rate. That's a form that's either done online or through the mail, depending on the company.
