I am renting a car for a day, and looks like I will need to return to the Seattle airport, and then get myself out to pier 91 for a cruise. Any recommendations on best way (i.e. cheapest) to get from airport to pier 91?

Cheapest way is via Metro bus. The 194 goes from the airport to International District Station. Walk up the stairs and go to the bus stop at 4th and Jackson, on 4th Ave headed northbound, and pick up the # 24 bus, which will bring you to Pier 91. Get a transfer after you pay your fare upon boarding at the airport, and that will pay for the second leg of the trip to Pier 91.

As of early February of this year route 194 is no longer in service, take the train as olwagner suggested.

I have a group coming from San Antonio to Seattle to go on the Alaska cruise. I need a bus to take us to the pier and then back to the Airport once we returrn. Do you have a name and contact person so that I can schedule or check on prices? Thanks

If the plane arrival time in Seattle is 2:40 PM and the princess cruise line departs at 4:00PM to Alaska, What is the most reasonable transportation to get to pier 91 from Takoma international airport? Please advise.

I'd take a cab if you want to make it on time.

The light Rail from the airport is about 45 minutes to Westlake, the closest it gets to 91. If you have to claim luggage add 20 minutes and it's a bit of a walk to the train station from baggage pickup. Add to that the traffic issues due to road construction in the area and the container terminal trucks and your timing is really close. I'd really suggest an earlier flight
but if that's too late a cab has the best chance of making it.

Anyone wanting information on a group bus should contact Cruise Terminals of America with offices at Pier 66 and Pier 91.

There are also companies specializing in cruise shuttle service:

Seattle Cruise Shuttle|Seattle Airport Shuttle to Alaska Cruise Terminals

Some people take the light rail to the International District, then the #99 bus to the Port at Pier 69, and walk the paved trail through Myrtle Edwards and Centennial Parks to Pier 91. It's about 1.5 miles but a nice walk during the summer.
