We're contemplating trying a bi-coastal snowbirding, flying back and forth between Seattle & Miami, spending summers/fall on Olympic peninsula or perhaps an island. I can't imagine driving back and forth between these 2 extreme points. So it looks like flying is in order...but what the heck does one do about their WA car? Would one extra-long term park a vehicle near the airport, or do people keep their cars at their homes and take public transportation to and from their homes? I don't have any specific locations scouted out yet, but am wondering if I should keep this car/fly situation in mind as we explore our options. Any practical suggestions are most welcomed!!

Live on San Juan Islands. Take Light Rail from Airport to Seattle Piers downtown. Board Passenger Ferry. Commute to San Juan Island. Store car at house there. You will love it.
