i am a prospective Running Start student and i am torn between two community colleges: North Seattle CC and Central Seattle CC. i want the one that is diverse, interesting, has good classes (particularly around psychology and sociology), and a community feel. i like the campus feel. if you have a college to suggest other than these two, keep in mind that i am a high school student with no car, so i need to be able to take the bus from the area around Ravenna/Wedgwood. thanks!

They're essentially the same (same classes, etc.). The architecture of Seattle Central is more appealing.

I agree, the difference is not worth worrying about, go to the one that's the most convenient.

I've done Running Start many years ago... one thing I do remember is that you could go to UW for RS.

But it looks like they may have changed the rules, but apparently UW does have something like Running Start... perhaps you should check it out as well: UW College Programs for High School Students — Plan for College — University of Washington , UW in the High School

Just make sure to keep your grades up and have varied extracurricular activities. Many in-state students that were supposed to be a shoo-in did not make the cut this year because of the budget cuts.
