Two more:

Walk the dog on Alki and dine at Spud, preferably at sunset.

See the Fremont Solstice Parade. Visit any one of the neighborhood craft festivals in the summer.

Things to do in your first year:
1. Dress like a goth kid; beg locals for change
2. Visit the strip club across the street from Pikes Market
3. Stop using toilet paper; it's not environmentally friendly.
4. Attempt to drive through mountain pass during winter; don't wear seat belt.
5. Strangle a hooker; dump body in the Green river.

Hiking in the Saint Edward State Park. It is a 316-acre day-use park with 3000 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Washington. There is also a Chinese medicine university there.

I agree with you all. This is a great list. We are blessed to live here and it is almost a crime to feel bored.

It's called Bastyr University. It's a Natural Medicine/Health institution (which does include Chinese medicine and herbs). Definitely a GREAT school. You can even eat in their cafe. Try it out!
