There are many group homes but they don't advertise, because they are often full and have waiting lists. We found one for an elderly family member by hiring a nurse social worker through a list obtained from a local hospital. She charged $250 at the time to locate 3-4 family homes that we could visit and select from, and did a lot of preliminary work evaluating the patient, and their wants and needs to ensure a good fit. I would suggest contacting the Behavioral Health Services and/or Home Care Services departments at several local hospitals such as Swedish in Seattle, Evergreen in Kirkland, Overlake in Bellevue.
