I have the opportunity to move with my GF to either Denver or Seattle (area) at the end of this year. Since I'm a Product Development Engineering Manager in the shrinking American automotive industry, I feel this is the perfect opportunity for a "fresh start". Can anyone recommend a recruiter that has a good track record finding technical jobs in the Seattle area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Post your resume online: Monster, Dice, Hotjobs, CareerBuilder, Jobing, etc. List your town as Seattle/Denver--whichever you decide. Headhunters will call you, though headhunters mostly handle contract jobs. Still, that's better than nothing.

Make it clear that you are local, in the midst of a move to the area. Most companies in the current job climate won't want to bother with out of towners.

Good luck to you. Both Seattle and Denver are great cities.

Default Seattle

Volt has a pretty good track record of jobs progressing to full time employment. You have the flexiblity to "try before you buy".
