The weather here in so.ca is the opposite of seattle & most other states/cities in the us. You have your pros & cons everywhere. Today here its cloudy & cool. I havent seen that for a very long time. The majority of the time its sunny, warm or hot.

The rain in the Midwest/East Coast is usually moderate/heavy short-lived.
NYC "rainy day" usually means an hour or so, and in the summer 10 - 20 min lasting when thunderstorm passing quickly.
Seattle has still 30 more rainy days than NYC - that's a month more!

Not according to those stats. You get more rain and have about 4 months worth of rainy days. Seattle has 5 months worth of rainy days and didn't make the top 10 of large cities in annual rainfall.

Have a nice day.

Ya think I should post a poll in the NYC forum asking if people thought that NYers were obnoxious and rude, if they appreciated the high crime rate, and liked the high number of superfund sites?
That's what this is like.
Palmbch is pulling stats out of his you know where to justify his claims. Much of the rainfall in Seattle is light drizzle, so you can stay outside and not notice it. In NYC, you don't want to stay outside for very long. You might get stabbed. The pollution may turn your skin green, or you may die of heat stroke...
And may the NY Yankees lose every game ever from now on.

Not only that but the summers in Seattle are relatively dry. New York, like the rest of the east coast is known for getting precipitation year round.
