Hi Everyone!
I will be visiting may family next month and I would love to go to a good sushi resturant. Does anyone have any favorite places to suggest that I should try?

Thank you!

My favorite is Maneki in the International District on 6th Avenue South...They were serving sushi many, many years before sushi became trendy, and they are one of the oldest restaurants in Seattle. You don't go there for service, you go there for the food. Superb, and far less expensive than their more trendy counterparts.

I went to a really good one on 5th ave. It was one block north of Roy street but I forget what street that actually was.

Having gone to Seattle from SD myself, I think you will be satisfied. The place I went to was kind of nice and it wasn't as expensive as what we're used to here. The rolls were not that large, perhaps average. The Nigiri too but the quality was really good.

I found it. It's on Valley and 5th. It may be two blocks so check Aloha and 5th. The blocks there are really short. In fact now that I remember, it is Aloha and 5th because there's some used music store on Valley st. So check out the place on 5th and Aloha.

I like a place called Tsukushinbo and it's a little hole in the wall on Main St. and ... I forgot. Google to the rescue! ...

515 S Main St is the address. It's on a slight hill so I would park in the pay parking lot unless you don't care about a scrape or two.

It doesn't look like much on the outside, and the inside is a bit cramped, but they make some pretty good sushi and other Japanese food. Locals go there for beers and food, so it's pretty good. They are traditionalists so you won't find fusion anything there unless you have the younger chef and tell him to surprise you. He will then smile and make something for you at a reasonable price.
