Vancouver or Portland for big cities. Port Townsend might be fun for a small town to explore. Really depends on what kind of experience you want.

Depending on when you fly, Virgin America has great rates to San Francisco.

Its about a two hour plane ride to Phoenix. It was 73 degrees and sunny here today. Next couple of days are forecast at about 75 and sunny. Take a break from the Seattle weather, it helps!

What ind of vacation are you looking for? A sunny one? Or a snow trip?? YOu haven't said.

I moved back to Calif because I was tired of having to take my kids on a vacation just for warmth and sun.

Come on down to North Calif. We have Tahoe, and Napa Valley! All within 60 minutes of me now
