42nd and Admiral in West Seattle is a good area, good for walking and dining and shopping.

On QA, the 3rd Ave W location may be in the heart of lower Queen Anne. The 14th West and the Olympic Place locations may be Queen Anne with an Interbay flavor, thought of as a little less desirable.
Etruria is even beyond the top of QA Hill, close to Fremont and Seattle Pacific University. I kind of like that area.

Thanks Ira.. I really appreciate all the info you gave.

I just signed a lease on a 2BR condo at 1001 Queen Anne N. in the Plaza Royale Building.. great location and an incredible land lady... NO Deposit, nothing up front and no rent until March 1st!

Not to just head back to San Diego and pack.. Looking forward to making Seattle my new home.

I know that building! I showed a condo there a few months ago. Awesome location, great views, close to Kerry Park, Trader Joes, the 5 Spot...what more could you want?

You will like Seattle, I hope...many of the advantages of SF and not quite the crowds and prices.

You're coming at the right time of year.

Thanks everyone! Seattle has always been one of my favorite cities so I'm excited about the move. I lived in Boston before San Diego and SEA is like the "Boston of the West".

Ira.. thanks for the confirmation that I picked a good place.. If you're ever in the building showing a unit.. stop by #401 and say Hi...
