Me and my wife are going to visit Seattle in March as a potential place to relocate and need a few suggestions on what areas to look for housing and what the job market is like out there.

I am 25 and a Computer Network Admin with 6 experience. My wife is 26 and is a Critical Care RN. We are looking to live in a place that has a young, modern vibe that is within a reasonably close vicinity to the city. Together we make about 100k a year in a small rinky dink town in MD, so I assume that we will see a pretty decent pay adjustment by moving out there. We don't have kids, but plan to within a couple years so we have that in mind also. Here are my few questions.

1) What areas should we be looking in for housing that will fit into our budget (about 2k a month)?

2) How is the job market for our careers?
