My wife and I might be moving to seattle but were wondering about the job market there? I currently work in a large warehouse, are there any in seattle? any other entry level positions? are retail or medical assistant jobs easy to find? Any help would be appreciated. We plan on moving to Washington in June, job or no job, but would of course prefer one. How would are chance be if we moved to Tacoma or Olympia instead? I like the smaller size but less job opportunities i assume

Economy is a bit sucky here. Competition for jobs are fierce. I doubt there are many warehouse jobs around. But you can look to Lacey/Kent and see if there's any available.

Tacoma is always behind Seattle in terms of economy, but is struggling to overcome and revitalize. With that said, Tacoma is more blue-collar than Seattle and its rough around the edges. There are some not good neighborhoods, but otherwise is very nice. There's a lot of new construction, old construction, lots of variety. They have Pt. Defiance which is a beautiful park with a zoo and the ferry.

Olympia is very beautiful. More likely to get a job in the government related areas. Olympia is the slowest paced in comparison to Seattle/Tacoma. Olympia has one of the great school districts (Tacoma is a mixed bag of MEH).

Out of the 3, I would say that Tacoma Real Estate is the cheapest. Economically speaking, Seattle/Olympia is a bit better off-- and that's not saying much.
