Any recommendations? We live in Issaquah and the Big O has terrible reviews. We just got my tires replaced at the Firestone, and they were not great, either. Now my husband needs new tires. Anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks!

V. =)

Many northwest natives I know swear by Les Schawb. They've been around for decades and its corporate headquarter is in central Oregon. I've heard more good reviews than bad.

Les Schwab has been recommended to us as well but we actually bought them off Amazon They worked it so that they were shipped to a shop in Redmond and my husband went up there and they put them on included in the price. I don't know that it was a huge deal saver personally but he likes to support the company he works for Costco also sells tires. We have bought them there before and at Sam's Club and it has always worked out fine.

Thanks everyone. We have used Costco in the past, but we haven't had a membership for 3 years now. Amazon doesn't have the tires my hubby wants. I'll look into TireRack!

Thanks again!

Costco. They sometimes have that $70 off a set of Michellins a couple of times a year.

Discount Tire says they can beat Costco but make sure you get quotes for the full install and not just the tires. My buddy got a quote from both costco and discount tire and while the tires were cheaper at discount tire the total cost was more.

Les Schwab I believe makes their own brand for tires. I hear they last a long time but are rock hard so might not give you the grip you need in inclement weather.

Tire Rack is good too but most local stores can price match them and you would still need to find a shop to mount and balance the tires.

I vote for Discount Tire. I purchased tires there a few months ago and was actually able to negotiate a bit. If you want to spend less there you can have them take off the Certifications (their warranty) and not purchase the lifetime balance (around $40 I think). I went to Les Schwab too but they seemed way overpriced and not as friendly. There were about 15 people at Discount Tire and 0 at Les Schwab, 300 feet away.

I have to say at both the Discount Tires I've been to (Kirkland and Bellevue) the guys there seem to know what they're doing. A lot of them are car enthusiasts too.

Les Schwab treats their customers very well. Will fix a flat for free (and have for me). Businesses like that are few and far between so I always go there.

Les Schwab not only offers quality products, but they go out of their way to serve you fast. Plus, if you bought 'em there, they give you free rotations. You might pay a little more, but the service is among the best anywhere.
