Hi all:

One thing I'll be missing about Columbus, Ohio when I leave is Jeni's Ice Cream. It's the DEAL! So I'm wondering, are there any local amazing ice cream shops that we must try out when we get to Seattle?

Thanks!

Molly Moons and Bottega Italiana are always solid.
Heard good things about Full Tilt.
Old School Frozen Custard is really good too.

Molly Moon and Full Tilt are both great. A long established good place for ice cream is Husky Deli in West Seattle.

Hey everyone, I hear there's this great ice cream place called "The Dairy Queen" It's a quaint, working man's establishment that only serves blue collar workers. I hear that you can fool them, however, by wearing a trucker's hat. You know, the one you sometimes wear ironically to the gastropub. I wonder if they serve PBR?

There are two Molly Moon locations:

One of them is in the Wallingford neighborhood:1622 North 45th Street

One of them is in the Capital Hill neighborhood: 917 East Pine Street.

Seattle strangely seems deprived of great local ice cream places, except for Molly Moon. A whole different story for restaurants and independent coffee and tea places(I can name at least 25 great local ones for each).

Well, you won't find many in Seattle. By the way, you botched my statement, they don't only serve people from the working class, I called it a working class pleasure.
