This cane is pretty cool. I have always been a fan of hidden weapons. One time, I saw a movie where the guy had a machine gun hidden in his wooden leg.

Well, yes & no. I've found that as long as your cane is the classic crook you're good to go 99.9% of the time (there will always be some nut who thinks it's a sword or gun) .

ANY metal on the cane will immediately cause it to be checked as a possible weapon. All ball head canes will also get a close look as weapon. I've had my sliver top ball cane taken until it was x-rayed and then they gave it back with a funny look. I leave it home now since that pure silver top is expensive.

So if you use a cane or staff it's much better to stick with the classic 100% wood crook top to save the grief.
