Yes it is!

I have Hornady critical defense in there as well.

Always remember that the ammunition is just as important !

The one we have currently in the store is $533.00, it has Hi-Viz sites installed on it.
( I have them on mine and love them)

In fact i would be seriously worried if he caught a bad guy. That poor bad guy might get staked to the ground with wet raw hide to dry under the sun. As the raw hide dried and shrunk, he would be getting lots of time to think over the infraction.
LOL!

I've twice in my (long and interesting lol) life been a "potential" victim so I have a fairly good idea how I'd react. Basically, with utter outrage and no inhibitions about using force although obviously I have never been lethally armed which was maybe a good thing.

I am fairly sure that I would have no hesitation however, should the situation warrant force. As long as it's on my property, state law is on my side.

MOgal, copy that and I didn't intend to "excuse" criminals simply because they are young; just said that to illustrate what I get from news/cops/scanner traffic is that they are teenagers and lack courage and are looking for people who look and act like victims, or who are clearly weaker. Hence shooting at a 64 year old man through a window, killing a 73 year old woman in her home, etc.

I live just north of Flint Michigan; perennially one of the most violent cities in the US. Between the dire economy and the fact that Flint is in debt and has cut its police force to almost-non-existent levels, crime is not only increasing in that city but seeping into neighboring areas.

Very reasonable. I've never bee a big 'sites' fan...but definitely would recommend some sort of laser aiming device--especially for home defense.

My best half isn't either, this isn't a laser, the sites are green and they work really well. I am not a fan of laser sites, by the time you try to light up your target, he/she has found you and chances are you are dead.

When you are moving, ducking, and rolling...you'll appreciate the beam of light. But to each his/her own.

You make a good point there but many aren't trained that way.
