Low-caliber pistols are child's play! As any REAL MAN will explain, you need nothing short of a .45, although elephant stopping rounds like the .454 Casull and the .50 AE are highly recommended! Nevermind the fact that all calibers of bullet and all types of gun can kill, armchair generals on internet forums have told me for years that stopping power is king, and who am I to disagree?
I agree on the situational awareness bolillo wrote. You don't live to be 60 and ride motorcycles with out any. All riding is these days is self defence on 2 wheels. It's the same skill in a different location.
Bulldog dad, Don't let the kids have access to those weapons at school! The'll get busted.
Sadly, our society has gotten so bad that kids are suspended over carrying a toy squirt gun to school. Moreover, I remember reading about a five or six year old boy that was thrown out of school for mimicking a gun with his hand. It’s truly sad to have witnessed how this country has deteriorated over the past forty something years.
If the SHTF, then you won't know who the enemy is. If the enemy is wearing red coats with the declared intention to kill me, then there is nothing I'd rather have than that light 50 Barret with them marching single file in my 1 mile kill box. Its a good tac for zombie movies too.
The vast majority of the conflicts would be within 20 feet and no one would have any idea about intentions.
I'm 58, punk, and I've forgotten more about guns and shooting than you will ever learn, rest assured of that.
