Since I am a supporter of my local Future Farmers of America, I get all of the contacts for their fundraisers. And this month is my favorite - BIG bags (16 and 25 pounds) of Texas peanuts, popping corn, and beef jerky, as well as fresh and huge apples, oranges, grapefruit, pears, and even pineapples - all grown in the USA!

Great for canning, dehydrating, or just eating or giving as gifts. The kids sell these items every year. Look up your local FFA kids (or call your local rural high school for whom to contact) for some great deals on really big, really good fresh American-grown fruit, and support the kids as well as get some great things for food storage!

Great. I bought some oranges and grapefruit last year.

Thanks for the head's up!

My niece and nephew are both in FFA and I have bought the fruit from them for years.
Didn't know about the peanuts, I will have to ask.
The fruit has always been very good stuff. (I really like the pears especially)
